Slot It Group C and Sideways Group 5

5th March @ 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Round One – Slot It Group C

  • Any Slot-it Group C car they have made is permitted
  • The magnet must be removed
  • Body and chassis must remain standard, white kits must be painted
  • Rear wings and wheel inserts must be attached at race start
  • Rear view mirrors, window wipers and aerials can be removed
  • No light weight interiors or body/chassis lightening is allowed
  • Either the old 25k or newer 21.5k (23k) SIMX16  motors are allowed
  • Gearing must be as supplied when new (9/28)
  • Motor mounts must be as supplied when new
  • Any rubber compound tyre can be used, branding must be visible on the sidewalls
  • Tyre treatment is allowed but must be dry when placed on track
  • Front tyres may be changed to a low profile and may be glazed
  • Hubs must be as supplied when new
  • Slot It suspension (ch47b) is allowed on rear of motor mounts only
  • The standard guide can be replaced with screw topped guide (ch85)
  • Ballast can be added but must be inside car

FREE COMPONENTS

All screws, lead wire, eyelets, braid and spacers.

 

Round Two – Sideways Group 5

  • Any Racer Sideways Group 5 car is allowed
  • The magnet must be removed
  • Body and chassis must remain standard
  • Rear wing must be attached before any race start
  • Rear view mirrors, window wipers and aerials can be removed.
  • No light weight interiors or body/chassis lightening is allowed
  • Motor and gears must be as originally supplied new
  • Wheels as originally supplied new
  • Original motor pods may be replaced with Slot It alternative
  • Any rubber compound tyre that fits the standard hubs can be used
  • Front tyres may be changed to a low profile, can be glued, trued and glazed as required
  • Tyre treatments are allowed but must be dry when placed on track
  • Ballast may be added but must be inside the car and securely attached
