Standard Racing
- Drivers are given one twelve lap race on each of the four lanes.
- Points are awarded in the descending order of finish 10, 9, 8, 7 with no points for a DNF.
- The driver with the fastest lap gets one extra point.
- The driver leading the most laps gets one extra point.
- The driver with the fastest reaction time to the start lights gets, guess...
- At the end of the heats the points are totalled up and the excuses begin.
- Drivers not taking part in a heat have to marshall a corner.
Endurance Racing
- A time length for each heat is agreed, normally three to five minutes.
- Drivers race on each of the four lanes.
- Cars start with half a tank of petrol, the race management monitors voltage, calculates a fuel burn rate and reduces the load each lap. A minimum of one pitstop will be required.
- Points are awarded as above.
- At the end of the heats the points are totalled up and the excuses begin.
Post Race Analysis
Complaints about marshalls, dodgy set up and rule-breaking cheats normally take place, last orders permitting, at the Royal Oak, Ramsden.
