Currently, the way we run meetings is with what we call 'White Lane Rules'.
Basically what this means is that since each driver will get a turn on each lane, when his name is called to race on the white lane, he gets to choose the class of car to run for that heat.
Provided his fellow competitors all have a qualifying car - loaners are often available - that is what is run for that heat. If insufficient members have a car in the class another has to be called. In this way drivers should get at least two opportunities through the course of the meeting to run one of their favourites, because we generally run a minimum of two rounds per evening.
